About Lauren

As a member of a 5th generation farming family, Lauren knows the values that make our community strong: honesty, hard work, and service to others. As Commissioner, she will work tirelessly to preserve Fluvanna's rural character through the Land Use Valuation Program and ensure that our tax system is fair, transparent, and efficient.
Lauren brings over 14 years of local government experience to this role, with 12 of those years in the Commissioner of the Revenue's Office.
Lauren lives in Fluvanna with her husband, Andrew. They have two sons, Andrew II and Macon, who both graduated with honors from Fluvanna County High School in 2023. Andrew has served as a teacher in Fluvanna County Public Schools and a school bus driver for over 15 years.
